Automating single visual notification using power app in Power BI

  

Creating alert on Particular visuals in the Report.

Step- 1
In the dashboard view choose the Visual that you want to get alert.

Step-2
Mouse hover on the visual that you want to get alerts and click on the three dots icon

Step-3 
Click on the Manage Alerts


Step-4
Add Alert rule as shown in the below Image for that visual.

Step-5
Click on link- Use Microsoft Flow to trigger additional actions, this will redirect to the Microsoft flow app page.


Step-6
Select template "Send e-mail to any audience when a Power BI data alert is triggered".

Note:- It can ask for signing in you do that by adding  your official email id that’s been used for power bi.


Step 7-
Click on Continue, it will be redirected to another page of Microsoft flow which can be seen in next screenshot.


Step 8-

You just need to add the email id’s that you want send email for the selected visual.




You will see the alert received on the email


You can see the notification icon on the pinned visual on the dashboard and the notification bell icon.


From here you can go back to the original report form where the visuals are been pined.



You can see your flows that you have created.
